Been a season ticket holder since 1989 and I’m leaving the ground not feeling the disappointment that one should after a performance like that. Widnes ‘till I get bored.

I would sack Kear and make no apologies for my point of view.

I can’t see a way we get promoted to Super League under the current completion rules, we just don’t have enough money. So that influences my expectations.

With that in mind, all I want is to be able to go and watch Widnes, with family and friends and enjoy it. Decent atmosphere and a side that plays decent rugby and wins more than it loses. At the minute I’m not sure we get any of that. The entertainment on offer is abysmal. It’s a chore.

The club have got to be very careful, there doesn’t seem to be any new fans coming to watch, so they’ve got to be carful to not lose the ones they’ve got, and at the minute they’re losing fans, on a weekly basis

I was with the prawn butty brigade today. The ref was woeful, it was too windy, the Axminster was too green, it was too sunny. No excuses, this club is utterly fucked. The usual suspects will bleat on, but, that, is enough for me. An afternoon wasted. Shite

Our Problems are pretty clear, A lack of Quality in depth being one of the main ones. I see people saying give Tileke a chance, Why would a Low end National Conference player at best be the solution? he isnt the main problem, since he does not play but the fact he was given a contract is an indicator of why we get days like this.

It feels like Grady misses so many games for obscure personal choice reasons, that may be wrong but thats how it seems. Surely he is on a pay as you play contract.

Lyons is a waste of a shirt, always has been, You could pluck someone off the street and after 5 minutes of training they could provide for the team what he does.

Game Day is Flat, our style of rugby is Flat.

Today a London team with no ability at all in the halves, Dominated the game with a plan of, Win the contact, dominate field position, Wait for Widnes Errors. And it worked a treat.

Gilmour is getting hung out to dry, trying to play behind a beaten pack, With a Forwards Dominated game plan, and no partner in the halves.

Fozzard, Farnworth and Gilmour stood out for me ( Even with the glaring errors ).The ref wasnt a factor, and we were ultimately lucky it was a close as it was. We didnt deserve to be in that game on the balance of play.

The club just feels stale right now, The fanzone idea seems like a good one, but the Rugby is the thing that is ruining it.

I thought our two out and out props, Farnworth and Hatton both played well. Both ran hard. Could have done with more props rather than back rowers filling in. Also, I’m not so sure about the ball playing loose forward with the likes of JJ and Brown. It’s a bit old school. I’d rather see more fellas running hard and leave the ball playing to the halves and full back.

Why not try brown at 6 and leave Lyons out next week.

The club posted a tweet on twitter with a link about the fans forum before the game and when you clicked on the link it sent you to the Warrington Town football club website.

That's tells you everything about the club atm.

Yes, hit the nail on the head there.  For some reason we seemed intent on offloading in the tackle more than usual (which is zero!) as part of the game plan for the first time this season, and some of those offloads cost us dearly.  I counted 16 points conceded directly from poor passes, dropped ball or injudicice offloads.  It was those which ultimately affected the result.  The offload at 18-16 up on our own 40 line was the killer, as we needed to get to the kick and keep them up in thier own 40.  That, combined with the 90-meter breakaway effort 5 minutes before half-time, killed us.  But, I think we knew we could not beat that bigger, more mobile pack down the middle, so tried to give the ball more air...it may have worked, but we ultimately paid the price, as it didn't.  If we had kept it completely down the middle all afternoon against ALBERT and Co., we may well have lost by more than 8.  The fact remains that we have too few forwards still (having lost JOHNSON, AMOR, WALKER, GRADY and FIELD for various reasons for that game this season), but I did think HATTON, FARNWORTH, JONES and LAWTON in particular had good games - but only two of them are out and out props....and we were down to them.....  ALBERT had another three in the pack as big as him (and LAWTON).  WE lost too much ball as we probably all know, and KEAR reflected that in his post-match interview.....

Did people think that our squad was capable of a top 6 finish?

Kear isn't known for playing entertaining rugby, but even if he was he could hardly play entertaining rugby with our squad.

At the start of the season most people said we needed a decent half back and more size in the pack, yesterday was proof.

It's more or less the same squad for the last couple of years, do we keep blaming and sacking the coach every 18 months or just admit our squad is not good enough?

It's Kears squad and nobody elses he is the one at fault and to not cover lost players is his fault we where told that money was there if the coach thought we needed players. Every man and his dog knew what players was needed except our coach. He is afraid to drop players who do not perform and for that reason alone i will pay for a Taxi.

He keeps harping on week in week out where we went wrong but does not fix any or the problems, his summories as as boring as his rugby both have no meaning.

@wrlfcefc1989 - I had us down for sixth at the start of the season. We might scrape sixth but could easily end up seventh or eighth. Wasn't expecting three of our first choice 17 to leave during the first half of the season and not be replaced. And yes, I thought (and still do) that we needed another good halfback and a couple of big props. Latter seems to be a recurring theme season after season as does stockpiling extra wingers we don't need. Frustrating.

I wonder if there was a similar fan meltdown on the Toulouse message board, last week?

Granted, we have lost 2 decent props and a centre that would probably never made the 17 (unless of injuries). It's frustrating, but where are this plethora of prop forwards hiding? I'm sure if any decent ones are available, the club would have tried to get them in. I think a point a lot have maybe missed is that our two tackling machines, Grady & Bent were both missing, for various reasons. The amount of 'offloads' the LB pack were getting out was the most I've seen from any team for a long time. The tone was set by LB in the first 15 mins, from when Welly banged JJ onto his arse, yeah, that Welly, it was always going to be a tough afternoon. Their pack was massive, and only Farnzy could really hold his own against them.

Anyway, see you at Whitehaven, God willing.

Whats that got to do with anything Toulouse do not often crumble but we do.  Other clubs sign players when and if they need them so why not us ?. And don't anyone dare give the Yorkshire players won't travel Gilly had no problem at Batley. As for Grady if the rumours are true then it's really a hoiliday camp.

Alot of so called die hards have had enough and who could blame them, I sure the club will hold another fans night then carry on as usual.
