Oldham have released 9 players due to the tightening of the cap. However they are still signing quality players. Even if London go out of the Championship we will still have stiff opposition but nowhere near London's quality. Doncaster, Barrow, Salford & Halifax may also be stronger. Much will depend on the quality of our Australian recruits as to how we go. Thoughts?

They’ve actually let 11 players go, including Drinkwater and Thornley who were announced as leaving earlier, then announced another 9 going. Only signed 4 new players so far.

If (when?) the Broncos have the likes of Pies, and Fraud on their fixture list next term, the Championship (depending of course on what the RFL throw at us) should be much more of a level playing field.

Top teams? Donny, the Raiders, the 'Yeds, and the Naughton Parkers, should all be there, or thereabouts in the mix for play-off positions.

Thunder? It'll be interesting to see how they (without York's help?) perform with (probably) a more difficult set of opponents in front of 'em.

Cru, and Fev? WTF knows? We'll have to wait and see if they are at the starting gate, will we not?

The Lions? Ever the optimist, I'd like to think mid-table is well within our compass.

Spelly.
