Duffy, Smith, Marshall or Ward. Whoever the club choose I feel people moan on here. 🤠 🤣

I’m not too bothered who it is, all I want is a coach to tries to play decent rugby.

The last 2 games have been so enjoyable because we’ve seen a team who’s willing to throw the ball about. Sometimes it might not come off, but I’d rather take the risk than watch one up rugby again.

After all this is meant to be enjoyable

Another thing to add to the mix is that many/most of our squad have tried playing for the 'big' clubs, some in Yorkshire, and came 'home' to enjoy the game again. They are now gelling into a group. OK there have been some bumpy patches but we still have games to play.

I must say that Belshaw looked like good character who has gathered the squad together after an unsteady few weeks and deserves to be given a longer shot at the job. JK has many irons in his fire and must have split loyalties at times.

Bradford will get better, but Monday showed that big names aren't the only way up.

So we are back  where Widnes has been many times, a band of mostly 'locals' against the rest!!!! Given encouragement who knows what can be achieved?

Well for now mate and i would rather find the correct coach than rush it. Be nice to find a coach before the season ends.

Belshaw as coach, Beswick as assistant coach plus head of S&C/fitness with an inexperienced trainer under him carrying out the day to day duties?

@sunny

Makes sense tbh no massive shifts of staff.

Mind you, looking at Craven and and Belshaw on TV, they must have been watching a different match!!!!!

Maybe Danny Craven is toying with the idea of retiring and starting to coach? (That isn't a rumour, just a thought!)

Brilliant their is a few jobs in Macy Ds before the game. 🤣 Unsure about Belshaw as only 3 games in at the moment to judge, but it seems the rugby is more enjoyable to watch. Wait and see after the August fixtures and Batley at home.

I think majority of new coaches going into an underperforming environment galvanises players to get immediate results.  It's a different voice, it's a change (repetitive training under Kear) and it can often bring some freedom for players just to play.

The real test is when this new coach effect starts to wear off and it starts becoming a tactical game again.  Fixture list has been kind now with Haven and Newcastle we should pick up 4 more points.  York and Fax good tests to see where we really are - I agree there doesn't seem to be any need for an immediate jerk reaction to the head coach job.

Exactly my thoughts too and as you say fixtures landing nicely. It is when play Fax, York, Batley, Sheffield and Featherstone tests to judge more? The players have the ability apart from a few who I feel should leave. When different tactics are required to get results is the tests, and at least the rugby is expansive which fans love now. 💪🥖🥖🔥👍

The prop area has been the problem for ages tbh.

Our second rows do a reasonable job and Ollie Davies looks to be enjoying the loose forward role atm.

That rough aggression for the hard yards needs addressing urgently ready for next season, every club with a few bob is hunting and we have to get stuck in or we will be too late again!

A few signings in that area would boost our ST sales and give us all something to look forward to.
