Not sure what to make of all this really. We could have Mother Theresa, the Dhali Lama, Ghandhi and the Virgin Mary running the club and somebody would call them twats!

I don't know him personally to judge him. I do think the Longhouse is a good idea especially if we can start winning. The October Comedian night and getting the Council on board to help out. In the right direction just need a decent team now. 😂👍🥖🥖

Not calling him a twix, more concerned about the number of winding up petitions hes overseen whilst running rugby clubs.

Based on our recent past, we all should be.

The board did us proud when we needed them, but they are not millionaires and I'm sure if there was outside investment available they would take it, if it was from a trusted reliable investor, are they any out there on this financial climate.

The only thing they are guilty of giving Finney the CEO role. He's the one who put the squad together, givng two year deals for some of our star players so we are stuck with them next year.

When someone said the players believe their own CV, it's probably not far from the truth, but any coach who doesn't have the clubs first choice halfbacks and no props for half the season is always going to struggle.

Hamilton has a pretty bad reputation within the game, Likes to be over involved and a bit of a social man, likes a drink with the players.

Rumor that Littler could end up our coach, which if you have ever met or coached with the man, is no great thing.

Beggars can't be choosers, we are a mess of a club

We could yet be relegated, let that sink in

I’m more worried about the way the club is being run than only be 3 points above the relegation zone.

There’s isn’t a good story coming out of the club, in fact the more people you speak to the more negative stories that come out. It’s really, really concerning. We’ve been down this road recently.

Questions need to be asked and answered.

What has Chris Hamilton achieved in the short period of 2 months being employed by the club.  Sacked the coach along with people  who have worked for the club over many years.  Player who we can ill afford to lose going out on loan how many more will go before long.  When will the board realise they have employed a loser "Communication to the spectators was paramount"-no news is not good news

Well get your hands in your pockets or find a sugar daddy. 9th is no achievement in the Championship.

Why was he appointed?

What is his remit?

What are his targets?

None of these things are clear.

Not bothered one iota he isn't a Widnesian, more why is he here and also have the directors abdicated responsibility by empowering him? In my opinion they have.

The problem to me, is that when a failing business is "rescued", the first move is to stabilise the business and then form a plan to take it forward.

All I can see is a plan to keep the club where it is now , with no plan going forward .

This would be ok if we were told that this is all the club / directors can manage.

However, this is the polar opposite of what we were told a few weeks ago on TV and a statement was made that we are in a position most clubs would aspire to be in.

If this is the case, why is all the talk of recruitment aimed at players who are (at best) not as good or only equal to those we have now .

Is it time time to accept that the club's ambition is to become a mid table championship regular. If this is the case, it is a great shame that  a club with so much history is led by a board with such little ambition.

This is only what I see and it is not in ay way a reflection on anybody , especially those who held their hand up and have worked very hard to save the club.

That could be down to trying to fund a side with less money than you need!  There is obviously something that stops our effort at some games, we are not consistent and no coach yet has explained why. Wire have had a similar problem for years and have spent massively on players etc to try to break the habit.

Maybe someone who tells it as it is is what we need? Maybe the 'bang for your buck' was the message, signing players with 'pedigree' that aren't consistent with their effort is just as bad as signing 'no marks'.

If rumours turn into facts it will be interesting to see how Oldham fare next year!!!!

For a while now there has been Fozard regularly playing up to his reputation with many more barely reaching their peak one game in 5!!! That just isn't acceptable or sustainable.
