I think a squad of 28 is about right.
I'd rather use our own players, who are training together week in week out, than bring somebody in on loan for two weeks, then a different player the following two and so on.
Hopefully it brings more stability.
Holroyd Tillike Walker and brookes are a waste of a wage.
Should of invested the money in a stand off/scrum half.
I agree they are all average players at this level and should not play much. I do think we require a decent squad, but these 4 I hope don't play too much for Widnes. Stay at Rochdale please.
I think Walker is likely to surprise you by being a much better player than you give him credit for.

I disagree with you Sunny boy. The guy has been to several clubs and the Bradford fans said he was rubbish, and very unfit. Watching him for Wales I was not impressed. Hope he does well because it will help Widnes. 😂👍
Depends what we want from Walker.
Is he a play handling, agile forward with a turn of speed? No.
Will he carry the ball and run hard, occupy and tire tacklers for 20 minutes each half? Maybe, let's see.
The Bradford fans weren't complementary about Kear but were hanging all are hopes on him being a tactical genius.
Who cares what Bradford fans think ?Since when did they become the font of all knowledge ?
28 is about the right number I'd say. However, as is the case every season, we will end up with a load of injuries (fully expecting us to pick up a few in the hammering v Saints) and the like-for-like quality isn't there, particularly in the half back positions.

Well what I saw from him playing for Wales he was unfit and just a spare part walking around. So yeah I would listen to the Bradford fans.

My verdict will be given after I've seen him playing for us, and I expect him to be taking part on Sunday.
Exactly. You can form your own opinion without being told what to think by others.Well what I saw from him playing for Wales he was unfit and just a spare part walking around.
@sinbad yes you can and you can listen to people's opinions that have seen him play.Take his stint at Wakefield 17 appearances in three seasons.Overweight and unfit!
Exactly stats don't lie and every club supporters have moaned about his fitness and weight. Watch this space a few more will moan through the season.
and maybe a "few more" will end up applauding Kear for being farsighted in signing Walker.
Don't you realise you do nothing but whinge about Walker - every thread you post on irrespective of the subject heading.
Give it a rest! You have become boring now.
