@viking-man I think you could add Johnson the prop to those going out on loan. Field has not exactly shone either since joining. Perhaps 5 out on loan is too many though in case of last minute knocks.

Unsure who will go out on loan but in certain positions we are top heavy such as wing and Prop. 4 on loan would be good and if Craven or Gilmore get injured, an experienced half back from Super League who is out of favour? I hope we have saved enough to get a loan half back because that the only position I have concern. Possibly if 4 are on loan it would free up money. 🥖🥖🥖👍
@geoffw Think you’re being a little harsh on Field, he maybe hasn’t shone but he’s a decent steady prop. Something we’ve lacked during our Championship days, a solid forward
Suppose too early to judge because players a little rusty and will improve with game time. If a player goes on loan they may get games and come back a better player. So if Field or Tilleke went on loan for example it would not mean he never get a chance at Widnes. It is inevitable injuries will occur and I just hope we can be lucky enough this year. The depth of the squad should help us this year.
