Andrew Henderson would do a good job when he leaves Warrington, but wether he would come to us is another matter.

Cracking idea!!!

Let's bring Rowley in and give the team that thug mentality that's they obviously lack.

Like I said pre season, why would coaches step out of full time environments with more security to coach a part time side who from the outside looking in, look a very damaged and rudderless club.

It will be difficult to get rid of SF now because of the financial position of the club, but some people are saying its not his team, some saying it is, lets be real the payers were signed up before his arrival by the CEO. The squad we have was never good enough or deep enough for the championship, which is a tough league as it is, and even tougher when you consider that most of the other teams are the other side of the Pennines where there is a bigger playing pool in the pro and amateur game. We needed an experienced coach, not someone learning on the job. People are saying bring someone in with experience to help, but if that's the case get the man with experience in and let SF go as clearly after six matches we clearly are pants.  Realistically though we do need to get someone to get a bit of roll going in order to get a feel good factor at the stadium as the casual watcher will not return to watch the current team, never mind the die hard. I didn't renew my season ticket after many years (and let the club keep last years money) as I wasn't happy with SF or the squad, but I do feel bad as the club need the money nearly as badly as me, but if they did come out and say they need assistance I will happily oblige, but at the moment it will be pay as you go and reassess come October for next year.

I didn’t renew W1989 given the state of where we are right now economically but did give my season ticket fund back and I’m still doing the VIQI monthly donation... I just couldn’t justify shelling out over £300 for two tickets when I don’t know what rest of this year brings both job wise and how many games the club would play behind closed doors... that’s apart from the shitshow that’s currently unfolding... after the Batley game I wanted to cancel my VIQI direct debit but decided after calming down the club need the money.

But a bigger question is what are VIQI doing right now? How’s our financial situation going? In fact how’s anything going right now as the silence from the club since Sunday is very ominous (oh apart from the bloody Happy Birthday messages on social media).

Add to that this rumour mill from directors partners in Twitter and it appears there’s deeper issues.

Worrying times.

If, or when Finnegan is replaced, it would be better for us financially to keep him on the payroll rather than pay him off. We could pay him his monthly wage for him to stay at home, where he can do no damage and if he gets another job offer, our financial obligation would end.

This is the only way I can see us being able to afford a new coach and we would only have to find one more wage every month.

Probably not the best plan financially speaking - we have no money so let’s keep paying someone to stay at home and then pay someone else to do the same job.

If anybody who is a supporter of this club at the moment actually dreams that a) we can afford or, b) Rowley would want to come here at the moment, then you are simply deluded.

We are a second tier Championship club looking for a base to build from.

And Paul Rowley has spent all of his managing employment at championship level, it is obvious that Widnes is the best club he is ever going to get the chance to manage again. He’s hardly going to have SL clubs offering him the jobs is he.

I am sure his role at Salford is purely out of job security rather than a desire to be involved in the player development department.

We desperately need to add to the squad which everyone can see.   Dan Normans not getting a game at Saints, an option for us perhaps on a loan deal?.   London have been linked with Mullaly, maybe he fancies returning home.  There are players out there, appreciate clubs are reluctant to let players go.

Not sure sacking the coach will change much with the lack of options available to us.
