How many loan players from St Helens have we had in the last couple of seasons so why should they let us have Norman .

Unfortunately in the not to distant past we were given a list of ten loanees by St Helens to pick from but did not take one .

Perhaps there was a reason but it is a matter of fact that they appear to go to other clubs and not us .

When did St Helens offer us a list of 10 players?

They've been dual-registered with other clubs (as have we) in recent years.

Dan Norman would be an absolute no brainer - though I'd imagine Saints would rather have him at a Super League club. I thought Josh Eaves was worth a look at hooker, but he went to Wakefield (after a brief spell at Leigh).

Both Mullally and Norman would be good options. When does the French season finish?

The Grand Final is on June 20, Carcassonne already in the semi-finals on June 13.

Mullally - and also Pat Moran - being linked with London Broncos.

I would guess that it is all about the finance.   I think that we would have to pay towards the wages of the loanee player.

According to Phil Finney in a pre season interview, we had  money to buy players, we were just waiting for the right ones to come along. It looks like the right ones never arrived!

So we should have money available to help pay towards some good loan signings.
