As someone that lives in barrow this fixture is a killer for me ...have family and friends that are barrow fans and the level of brutality is elite either way result wise ...I'm just praying the gaffer puts abdull back in .. forecast isn't great through the week ...they've got an academy game on the pitch Wednesday that'll cut it up so come Friday surface won't be great nor the weather ...but the infamous Tesco end wind is tailor made for his bombs and kicking game.. slightly concerned how the forwards will match up ...diz and jay more than happy with starting up against bullock and walker ...but worrying we may well again go with the Donny front row rotation while they'll have Richard's and makin rotating ...if edge is back that'll be massive as he caused havoc in the same fixture last season....I'd have loved a front row signing or loan prior but let's face it that ain't happening...or if it is it has to be tomorrow as squads are named Wednesday... assuming there's no movement I'm expecting and in some cases hoping we go with ...

@vikingfox71 The conditions won't matter he needs to select the best 17 which AC has always been unable to do. Whatever the conditions are it's the same for both sides. Over the next few weeks if he doesn't play the strongest team available then we will slide even further down the table.

@pauliewalnuts I would go for Edge and Sambou, but it depends if Edge's hamstring has recovered over the last 3 weeks.
The problem is the bench, a trip up to Cumbira with potential bad weather and a heavy pitch against a very good Championship side. You need a hooker, a 2nd row and 2 big props. We have Fozzard and Lawton to take care of the hooker and 2nd row, but the 2 props are Hall and Roberts. Solid players yes, but small even for 2nd rowers, Roberts used to be a centre and Hall used to be a half back.

I would definitely go with your forward line up, and I see why picked Owens for experience due to Barrow being a tough place. Edge is probably still not fully fit but is the best centre at the club. Sambou has been great so I have to find a place for him. The backs are probably our strongest area just need 2 big props on the bench.
If Abdul plays we win. If he doesn't we lose.
