I assume he's P/T like the rest of our players? Maybe he's as fit as his circumstances allow.
Regardless of his fitness, he's still been one of our best players. What's the point in publicly berating him?
This information should definitely be kept in house not advertised to all our opponents. All players have weaknesses but Jordan's pluses far outweigh any defensive weakness. Someone can be told to help cover his defence. I do know his attacking & kicking abilities are very good to excellent & can keep teams penned back.
I think it is a bit rich criticising our best offensive player in public when the likes of Bent & Gregson get trampled over week in week out but never get dropped when fit.
I said this in another thread ...the gaffer broadcasting about him needing to sharpen up in defence and comments about his fitness is really really poor man management...and to basically tip off every future opposition that you have concerns over it is beyond stupid IMHO ...just keep it in house and deal with it there

Given Jordan's mental frailty surely berating him publicly is the worst thing to do
Coleman's decision making is awful I'm afraid , every season we drop off at this point and here we go again self inflicted giving players away with no replacements and now berating best attacking weapon I really give up !!

Its exactly that, just clickbait journalism no real story in it.
I was really disappointed to see this article and it was about the interview comments after the Doncaster game. Personally in the games watched on TV he has a great kicking game and has played very well. I prefer him over Lyons any day of the week. Yes I would love him fitter, but if was super fit he would be playing Super League now. Alan does seem to have his favorite's and I hope this gets resolved and he plays against Barrow. We all love a running halfback but I also love a great kicker. Abdul well played and keep your chin up you have done well. 👍
Jordan Abdull is a breath of fresh air.......at last after too many seasons of Gilmore Lyons a half back with talent.That half back combination is mediocre at best and the weaknesses of both players well known by opposition coaches....they never dominate.
Abdull doesn`t play and surprise surprise Widnes lose.
Coleman ?...............no excuses now it`s his team .............after a good start sliding down the table a familiar pattern.
Why change a winning pattern?......................
I surley cannot be because of direct lack of fitness ,injury maybe or other private reasons.
PS Lawton also unfit and can`t tackle still gets a game.
