Thats certainly the case. Its the character of the coach that you have to gauge, not easy!

Just on a matter of detail, wasn't it Rowley who attacked Mark Smith at Leigh while Mark was held? If so, he's not for me!

The cost of relocating an Australian and their family would surely be prohibitive. Money spent on visas, accommodation, etc, might be better spent on players. Whilst Adamson is an exciting proposition, I cannot see us spending good money on non rugby related costs. Just a thought.

Why would they interview him (and Cross) if they had no intention of appointing them if he was the best candidate?

Heard from a reliable source in the Prince of Wales pub that Owen Cragie is the new gaffer, Charley Runcorman will be his number 2

I don’t think the players will be training, not together anyway. If they do, they won’t get any furlough money.

I didn't think about that, the extension to the Furlough will help the club as it will now cover wages for another month. Also its back to 80% rather than 60% from the government with 20% bring paid by the club. However I assume it won't cover new signings as they won't be eligible to claim? They can still have a long pre season starting in December with no date for the season confirmed.

Rumours are the new coach is going to be............  Mr Simon Finnigan. So much for a so called super candidate applying for the job. I believe we need an experienced championship coach not someone cutting their teeth.
