1. We can all agree the current board have done a great job and steadied the ship to this point. We can also agree that the new IMG grading criteria make it very difficult now for a Championship side to make the step up to SL, even more so when the new cap is introduced next season.

Securing investment must now be the boards number 1 priority in place of the 6 year plan. Investment in RL is easier said than done but people will often want to bring in their own team. If a major investor was found and deemed to be suitable, along the lines of Derek Beaumont or Matt Ellis (dream scenario i know) and wanted to take full control of the club, would the current board be willing to step aside to secure the investment and let them take full control rather than inviting them to join the existing board?

2. We may not secure a major investor or it could be a number of years before we do. In that case, cards on the table, whats the realistic plan for the club, please include statistics and numbers and as much specific detail as you can. (Attendance, season ticket sales, investment, turnover, playing budget, league position) milestones, goals and YOY targets over the next 3 seasons.

I know it's probably going to be very minimal but how many deals have been signed off or agreed for new faces in 2027

To be honest Mike I think most people’s questions will be all about investment and the board. My main concern as always has been about the way we are supported prob the best in the division yet we are only just going in the right direction in the league and maybe that’s because of the structure!!!

I would never denigrate the board but I do get so frustrated when I see where other clubs are; so frustrating👍

Mike I think most people are concerned about our ambitions for Super League with this 6 year plan. Taking my rose tinted glasses off we do not know the Twinny scenario but I would still love Twinny and Kev Buck at the club in some capacity. Supposedly offered a substantial amount of money to the board, but I know Kev Buck is supporting his mate and I would be the same with my good mate. There is always 2 sides to a story and sometimes social media can also damage a club progressing, so we all need to be honest together. To be in Super League you need millions in an investor and no offence to Twinny but 100 to 200k for example would not get you anywhere in Super League. Wakefield, Warrington, Saints and Leigh for example have very rich owners and hopefully one day we will have that too. I see Doncaster, Oldham and possibly Salford spending next year, so for me Twinny money would definitely help in the Championship and get Widnes as a top 2 team for sure which would bring in more investors. If we are one of the top 2 sides or the best next year the RFL will have to consider us. Plus are the club getting close with the RFL because it helped Bradford with Nigel Woods.

On a positive we all know winning on the pitch is what gets more people to games, and light at the end of the tunnel for a chance of Super League.

We're 4th in the League and the teams above are full-time (I think) and spend more money than we do. So, whilst our position isn't all that bad, if SL is looking to expand, are those 3 (and possibly Doncaster) now better candidates than us?

If so, how are we planning to address that?

This might not be for Stuart but will our squad be just as good or a weaker squad? If weaker is it a plan to use Academy players and loans to top it up? Who is signed for 2027 in this squad already and who needs tieing up or will be released? Personally I feel we are short of two more big forwards at least 1 more at prop.

A good shout on our intentions as a team next year. I belive Gilmore and Owens not re signed and probably worth a year or 2 contract if going for Swinton or bottom team clubs pkayers.Decent halfbacks a priority and money will be needed. We also need to kiss the RFL arse if want Super League and would Twinny take us to the top of the Champuonship? His money seems good but we need a multi millionaire like Wakefield, Leigh or London to take us to the next level. What is gokng on as Kev Buck keeps shouting for Twinny on social media.Personally we all need to come together to see 2 sides of the story. I know Twinny is brash and a voice which could be intimidating, but we all need to work together than have negativity on social media. Kev Buck has done a great job but he needs to work with the club in a positive way.

Knowing the RFL, it will be a curtain-raiser to the 1895 final.

@mikeparsons can I ask when was it planned?
only because the fans forum was hastily arranged before Andy's outburst

now this interview the day before it's announced board turned down &150k in first year and £1k a week after because THEY can't work with him !! Surely it's the clubs interest not theirs that should come first !!! Obviously we don't need the money

💰 just saying 🙈🤷‍♂️

Hopefully once the Podcast is out this will be answered. I know Andy is very passionate and there is 2 sides to a story. But I do hope they find a way to work together as team work is the key.
