Anyone heard anything about the signing AC mentioned in post match interview?

Honest advice ....don't hold your breathe...he's said a few times in past post match interviews about new recruits....none have come to fruition bar Richardson....feel he is genuine about it at the time and more likely gets let down by our super ambitious boards reluctance to spend more than a quid lol
It was not a specific signing. He said 3 players out for the season & would like to add to the squad but that he would not take anyone just for a week or so. He also said it may end up we sign no one. Players out Bent, Mc Whirter & number 1.

mcwhirter is the biggest loss there - also we will need a stand off for the 1895 final so suspect joey may get a run out in a couple of games before then.

Whats McWhirters injury? Bent is it a knee injury? Flemming was out for a few months with a hand injury and only played one game, did he re-injure it or something else? I see Edge has stiches in his head, is that why he's been out. Is Sambou still part of our plans as he's been out for most of the season.
We are ok on the wing as we have Sergent, centre as have Taylor and prop Houghton, although we don't often select Houghton.
We could play Owens stand off and play Taylor, Edge or Sambou at centre.
We might be looking at the French league for a replacement forward as I think that it finishes shortly, like we did with Mc Whirter

It sounds okay but say we lost Wilde,Murray and Chapelhow, they are not like for like replacements in ability to be replaced. Then come play offs we will be struggling.Personally i would like 2 forwards at least to come in.
