What are the special dispensations the club mention on their post?
We could do with knowing what these dispensations are. Will wait on ordering my ticket for the final until we have full clarification.
I want to support the team, but i'm not putting money into an RFL organised event if most of the squad are backing up from Sheffield away on a Thursday night vs a full time outfit with the week off. Its as simple as that.
Just thinking back 50 years....a midweek game......Lancs cup,BBC 2,even Captain Morgan and Aussies,NZ,cup replays.......was nothing unusual at all.

Well yes at full time SL level but not at the part time Championship level
Part time and pay as you train and play was the top level of the game.
Some of the games in the Championship are no harder than training sessions and some weekends -no fixture.
I can see why it is not the best but ........get on with it !!!!
I think the special dispensations are that we can get more and play more loan players than is usually allowed. But we’re still going to have to pay for any loan players we get, so it’s going to cost us more to play this game.

@owl not really sure what planet or tree you on - but comparing back to the part time days when all teams were part time is fine - but not sure it’s reached your nest yet but some teams in the championship are full time - do not have to go to work to earn a crust

some....London and?.....who else runs a full squad of full time players?
My point is ,except for London, the Championship is a much lower than SL standard part time comp.
....and I would ponder at a lower level than the fully part time top level of the 60s,70s 80s
Remember most players also played all the game as there were two subs who once used were not able to return.
The best players in those days were part time ,there was no alternative.
The players in the Championship now are far from the best players otherwise they would be in SL.
London fine ....a SL team in waiting ...the rest well behind.
Does anybody remember Wigan playing their last 8 games in 19 days in season 1990/1?

There's nothing to be gained from this season anyway so enjoy it while it lasts, we'll still be in the championship next season and you'll all be on here f****g moaning about the RFL and officials like every other season.

London have been allowed to cancel their reserve match against HKR today, because of player welfare and a CONGESTED fixture list🙄
