Think we have to play strongest team against fax - not sure on injuries and availability

assume Joe edge is out and obviously Jack - and the 3 that are finished for the season

is jamboree available - hope so as otherwise we are thin in the centre department

given those assumptions I would go with

connel

Butt/ sargent

taylor

sambou

ince

richardson

gilmore

murray

jj

chapelhow

langtree

wilde (s)

hall

bench

fozzy

lawton

new max

roberts

thoughts?

Any streams knocking about to watch this afternoons game? Do Halifax do that?

Losing 3 important players in the first 20 is great planning for 2 weeks time 🥴

Fourth player lost (Banditt) now. Rotten luck that no one would have predicted. Need to get to half time and regroup.

Be some win if we pull this off- 4 injuries in the first 35 minutes is ridiculous.

fozzy injury really bad news

bandit too - suggestions he may miss next 2 games !
need to regroup and score early, so far they have not created a lot

onwards and upwards

Hall, Foz, Connell, Banditt - somehow we’ve activated 18th man Gregson.

I think that’s an amazing effort considering losing 4 players in the first half hour.

long minutes by some big lads, let’s just hope those injuries aren’t as concerning as they seem

Great result - the boys dug in big time there

downside is injuries, we only have Jack back next week so if fozzy as bad as it sounded out and Connell- suspect he only out 1 week new max - lucky to see him again this season , hall - unknown

Absolutely fantastic. Incredible effort and fitness to win that.

God knows who’s going to be fit enough to play next week.

Squeaky bum time towards the end and only our selves to blame for letting them back into the game but the lads must have been gassed with all the mins they had to play. Very very costly game if rumours on TwitX of how severe Foz’s leg/ankle/foot injury is. Banditt and Connell may miss two games if concussion protocol creeps into the re-arranged Sheff game. Typical Widnes luck. But well played today lads.

Hope they are ok, Fozzard is the big worry as we have no one to replace him in the squad and vs London you need 2 hookers.

Lucky to only have Worky at home next week who are really the division below us and Owens can slot in at full back. Mcquirter was on the training video so could also be back.

It shows the dangers of the Sheffield game just 4 days before the final. Any head injuries and they are out of the final. Well done on getting the win today.

@dan1

be nice to see an injury update - not todays but Joe edge and you mentioned mcwhirter could be back ? That would be a massive plus

oldham turned over London today, so probably not the tie we need in the playoffs - still outside chance they could pip Newcastle for second, but feel the points difference is too great ( sums this league up really, Newcastle didn’t play a lot of the top teams)
