@dan1 The fact that the 3 promoted teams are doing okay, a reflection of the mediocrity of 4 or 5 of the SL teams?
From what I've seen so far, Cas are absolute Toblerone, Hudds have rallied of late, but a couple of injuries and they could end up in the mire again.

@pauliewalnuts I agree, I think the standard of SL has dropped and its reflective of the current state of the game as a whole. Cas now sadly offer very little to the competition and have a top end of the Championship standard squad. In the game vs Wakefield they were absolutely rubbish. Huddersfield have picked up in the last 2 games like you say, but a 4k crowd vs York was actually celebrated by both the fans and Sky.
If London replace Huddersfield I honestly think we have as much to offer the game as Cas.
@pauliewalnuts The cap will be based on income which imo means we should be higher up than most due to double the following of most clubs.
There is a lot of doom at the moment and several fans are leaving in droves because of no promotion and relegation. We need another Podcast or update from the club because seeing Twinny leave makes people skeptical, because it feels like it is a closed shop Super League for all the teams especially after London are promoted. The RFL have killed the game below Super League and this worries me that our attendances will drop with nothing to play for again. The sport needs Promotion and Relegation on the pitch and not these silly IMG rules that favors all the Super League teams.
The drawbridge to SL might go up but that won't preserve half the teams in it. There's a lot of crap there and at least a couple will fold over the next few years. And, let's face it, London will fail. Again.

cas - I have time for them as they are very similar to us, but if 5hey finish bottom they will suddenly have no mates
leigh - the bottom is falling out now I feel
toulouse - will not last beyond 2 years
wakefield - as long as the sugar daddy stays they be fine

@martin that's been coming a while !! The Rfl don't seem to care about clubs going bust or getting them anymore finance it's a ridiculous way to run a sport
Death of the Championship with Twinny leaving and he gone because of the restrictions. Super League will be like the NRL Queensland Cup feeder clubs, and Super League be a closed shop for us unfortunanetly. So many fans will leave watching the corrupt sport and I am on the verge of giving up too. Sport for me is promotion and relegation on the pitch not IMG bullshit to suit who the RFL want in the league.
