Brand is mid twenties now and has made how many appearances ? If he hasn't established himself as a regular at this stage then it's unlikely he ever will.Not at top level anyway.

I'm with you on this one. Apart from us not wanting an unfit player just for a couple of weeks, Brand played badly towards the end of his career with us, not trying hard and believing he was too good for us.
No reason for us to do him or Leigh a favour. Let's stick with Owens, Fleming and Edge, plus Eckersley, for now.

There's a difference between unfit and not match fit.
Look at Bradford signing ex nrl players to end of season and we are bringing in ex London broncos players on 1 month loan deals.🤦♂️ it really does show our ambition. I think eckersley has brought something and I hope the Leigh second rower has a massive impact but it doesn’t scream we’re in it to win it does it
