Heard he's had a bust up with kear after the match on Saturday and stormed out..... he didn't look pleased to be taken off and rejected a hand shake with kear when storming past him and sitting sulking near the corner flag

I thought he did ok on Saturday and like Hatton, he certainly plays with intent and is commit to the cause.  He absolutely didn't look happy to come off on Saturday.

I would guess that most players don't like being taken off, if they feel fit enough to continue. Not sure about a player then going into a sulk gives a good impression. I guess that Kear would have had a word with him after the game once he had calmed down a bit - maybe pointing out that he is the coach and makes decisions he considers to be in the best interests of the team and players should respect that.

If he can't accept that, he can always go back to Swinton, where  presumably he was never substituted in a game.

There were a couple of times when Walker, and then Dixon walked down the field and away from the team. Dixon was not happy to be relieved of the kicking duties.

Hatton was looking good tbh.

That's not true at all. He came off because he got concussed which the doc on the day deemed a high category concussion so couldn't go back on and will miss next weeks game.  He was understandably peed off about getting concussed but, it's one of those things. There's definitely been no bust up at all.

@sandgroper Dixon didnt look happy early on, think he injured himself going for a high ball on out line maybe thats the reason he didnt look happy.

Quite probably, I think that he's been around long enough to know that these things happen. A change of goalkicker was a decision that I guess Jack didn't want to make but it was necessary. It would have been better if his kick had gone over but....

Taking the positives we were without our 'best' line up but were in the mix. Last year we would have been shellacked! So much depends on when and where you meet your competition in the season and we have a few hard games late on, when we might just be more complete!
