Yes that’s the way I see it - if you throw the game it 48 -   0

if you put out a really basic team you could lose by more - seems pointless, but we will find out when the clowns at the RFL make their decision on the 14th - mind you they may well defer that yet 

 

Ordinarily, I would advocate that you fulfill the fixture to keep the integrity of the competition; however, I think throwing the fixture is more in line with the integrity of the competition.

Just a thought, but would it be possible to go ahead with the Sheffield game on 30 August as planned and re-arrange the 1895 Farcical Cup final to the end of the season, perhaps as a support act to the SL Grand Final.

Probably not feasible, but wouldn't it have been a great way to promote the Championship and the rebirth of London into SL. I am sure that the 50 or so travelling London fans can be accommodated in Old Trafford!!

Let's see what the RFL come up with. My view is that the league and play-offs are more important (but no less farcical) than the 1895 Meaningless Cup final.

Do you think that this daft idea could get me a seat on the RFL Board?
