London’s no 12 Croft got a 3 match ban 2 weeks ago and didn’t play in last week’s match, but played against us yesterday.
Unless there is a reason for this (like you can’t ban a London player🙄), then we could get the 2 points from the game instead of London.
If we appeal, knowing the RL, they’ll probably decide at the end of the season, when the play offs are over .😁
Widnes wouldn't have got the two points anyway. If they decided he was ineligible (it has since been revealed he was fine to play), then they would have just took the two points off London.
I thought it was a wind up, but apparently the ref forgot to submit his match report, so the whole ban is null and void.
This sport never, ever ceases to amaze me.
I take it no disciplinary action was - or will be - taken against the referee?
What a co-incidence that the first time this sort of balls-up occurs just happens to benefit London.

No report ..no match fee.....who's to say he actually reffed the game !!!!!
Surely the report went .missing in the web ether...he must have written and submitted it or thought he had......or do the RFL rely on pigeons to communicate and a hawk got it
I will ask my feathered friends but unlikely to see hawks and pigeons as I sleep in the day and come out at night
@pauliewalnuts love that painting, though I like his 1920s work a little more - Automat and Chop Suey.
So if he didn't put in his match report how did they give a 3 game ban ? On what evidence? Because if it's just video evidence then you don't need the report ?
if it's off the report it couldn't have been late
or am I missing something?? ( usually am)
@vikingfox71 I asked the same thing earlier in the week on a post on X , but didn’t get a answer.
@farnworth-viking isn't that strange because it doesn't make any sense at all
