@sunny I’m not saying it’s a bad signing just comparing the signings keighley are making compared to us and it looks like we will be around the same position next season, I’m hoping the club have a few top players still to be announced m.
Maybe a bit early to judge given we are only part way through our announcements (Keighley too, I presume). Probably best to wait for a couple of months until we know our full squad. Just saying.
Great signing. Think Olly was one of the better players in our squad last season, glad he’s signed for us again 👍👍
Pascal opinion is a steady player, and if getting a decent squad then I understand. Definitely not a 1st choice if want aspirations for top 3.🥖🥖
Not a good signing in my view, if we have any ambition, but perhaps all we can afford. A very average player, but it is all about opinions and I guess that Kear must see him as a decent squad player.
Let’s hope that we can build a squad for 2023, capable of playing decent rugby, winning most games and finishing in the play-offs. You never know, we could win the play-offs, get promoted and then relegated in 2024 as a category B club!! Isn’t rugby league complicated!!

Apart from JJ it's all a bit ho-hum,so far.
@sinbad exactly my point, jj is a vast improvement on Hulme, Dixon is better than holroyd, losing roby is a mistake imo, I’m hoping we have some good players lined up as I believe the club have almost completed our recruitment for next season but are waiting to announce the new players
@mckviking I wouldn't get too hopeful on any big names coz there won't be any ...gilmore in terms of profile will be the headline of the remainder coming in ....there's two very good players coming who as good as they are won't fill the fans with confidence coz the clubs their coming from ...not naming them but most know who they are anyway...if people are expecting big names I wouldn't hold ye breath...

@mckviking the two in question are coming from Whitehaven and swinton...both decent in their own right..add plenty but fans will kick off coz not big names ...but yeah believe rhys evans is also inbound which again fans won't be happy with ...in fact won't be with gilmore either ...
@cumbria-viking let’s just hear their names so I can look into them and form an opinion please, Rhys evans will do a job and Gilmore will hopefully steer the ship as I feel craven doesn’t have that in his game
It's a team game and if the lads signed make a good efficient team they will be OK.
Trust JK to pick players that will do just that. A squad of good individuals don't necessarily make a winning team.
