I think a lot less than 3,000 sadly as not on the season ticket. It would be nice to win the last home game, but truth be told it doesnt really matter as not much riding on it.

Foz doing the full 80 then! Shame as it really works well the change from JJ to Foz I always think teams struggle without an interchange hooker

Half time and Oldham lead by 8.

Not a good 40 minutes for us, they are much quicker than us and when we had 2 chances near their line, we lost the ball.

Nowhere near 3,000 but those who are here are helping to counter the sizeable Oldham fans. 

Alan must be tearing his hair out, we can and should be better - maybe we will come good in the second half. 

Gutting. All that hard work to get back in front to then do that first tackle in golden point

Tell you who really let the team down today - the (stay away) fans! Where were they? If we had a quarter of those who went to Geri Halliwell last month we’d have pulled the boys along. It was v sparse in places today.

Still proud of this seasons performance  and we probs would have had a caning from London next week but so frustrating knowing we were so close. 

PS how much of a twix is Alan Kilshaw??? 🤬

Poor first half, great come back. Connell was first class. Terrible to kick out in the full twice. All in all an entertaining game and with London away next week for the winners its not the end of the world. Agree Kilshaw lacks any kind of class.

Hopefully London beat them next week. It's 2 wins apiece this year with us and Oldham so we aren't that much off them.

Amateur hour on their winning try but feel like we were running out of steam post the 1895 Final anyway.

All in all, a decent season, we have been competitive- hopefully push on next year.

What a disappointing end to the game after fighting back to take the lead, but what a good end to the season, which could have been better if we had managed a win today. 

As a club we need to build on this and aim to finish top of the Championship next season, rather than settling for a play-off position.

I was surprised at the relatively low turnout for the game, but still more than will probably get to the London v Oldham game. The Club should not just accept this as season ticket holders not turning up or the the entry cost to the game. They need to perhaps arrange a local survey to get the public's opinion as to why we lost a 1,000 plus fans today for what was one of our biggest games.

If this forum is anything to go by, there was not much confidence of a win. Maybe that was the reason why a number of fans just could not be bothered to turn up for the game today. Did the Club do enough - or anything - to promote the game locally or create an exciting atmosphere for the last home game for the season.

Anyway, it is what it is and we move on. Well done to the Club, the Board, Allan Coleman and his coaching staff, the backroom staff, all the players and most of all that hard core of fans that follow the club home and away?

Come on the Chemics. Hopefully, we will be in the top league in the near future, despite those running the game doing their best to kill off the game below SL That seems to be the only thing they are any good at.

It is a sad indictment of the game that the NRL want to take the control of SL away from those currently running the game, as a condition of their takeover,

As usual we give the opposition too much for nothing.......too many errors.This trait is costing far too many games and has done for some time. Sorry for the players who don`t make the errors but there are simply not enough of them.

Why didnt`t people turn up?........a game too far in a farcical play off system ,we have beaten them once fffs,and where the `winner `of the game is on a hiding to nothing at London....there was zero chance of Barrow winning.

Suppose Oldham having beaten London once and play the %s well ,will worry them a bit but in reality only have a very slim chance.

However the club didnt make game week feel like it was a big game and not much going on pre-game. If anything was organised, I wasnt aware of it and didnt see it.

Any idea on the actual crowd? About 1,900 ish? 

I think we need more than 2 more new signings for next season. 4 more for me to push on but 2 more takes us to a squad of 24.

The top four in the Championship are now in the semis, but is it 1v4, and 2v3 next week? Oh no!

The 'Yeds who finished four points ahead of Donny, must now head darn sarf, coz it's 1v3, and 2v4, which to me, seems unfair.

I watched on a stream today but we lack 2 decent centres.Sambou and Edge are better than Jack Owens and Taylor. Plus watching Richardson he is not good enough for Super League and that kick out on the full lacked composure and control. Hoping Jack Hansen with a running game will help us and 1 more prop then squad done.

Fair play to Oldham. They schooled us in the 1st half, we schooled them in the 2nd half, they took their chance well in ET.

I've never been to a golden point game before, now I've been to 7 seconds of one. Gutting.

The League need to change this play-off format, it's boring beyond belief even when you're in it.
