Hearing it’s a done deal just needs to be announced, I think that’ll be out last signing of the season

Yeah mate, Max is now an ex-Lion as well, and that's a quintet of players who've now left us.

I would imagine we've a few irons in the fire to boost the squad for when we play Championship football next term, but.............

Meantime, bring on the World Cup!

Good news I just say a centre like Keenan Brand, and a 2nd Rower to sign for me. Decent squad and rid of players like Levy, Holyroyd and Spedding. Overall I like 6 props in his squad.

I think he has the look of a decent signing but if he did turn out to be our only remaining one then we would be running with a small squad which is a risky move. Hopefully another 2-3 others to come in

Just seen that Will Tillike has re signed on a 2 year deal. Not sure about that really. Could it be an indication of who is and isn't available to come to us?

Abysmal decision giving a two Yr deal to someone that wasn't seen as good enough last season when we were short of props n shipped him out on loan....right up there with the grady deal n says everything about the clubs immediate ambition

We have to sign another centre,  Roberts and Tyrer 2 first choice from last season have gone plus 2 back up players Spedding and Roby. We only have Evans, Edge and hopefully Flemming so we need another centre.

If current players re-sign I think a centre is the only back we need. If Hatton signs at prop and again the forwards that haven't been released are announced as signing new deals them that could be it for the forwards as well. We would have 6 props, 2 good hookers and the likes of Wilde, Grady, Davies, Lawton, Bent and possibly Brown would give us enough back rowers as well. A back row signing would depend on if we sign both Bent and Brown as the rest are already contracted.

Said this before on other threads but there is a lack of size in our pack and giving a scrum half like Tom Gilmore a lightweight pack is like taking one of his arms away and expecting him to do a job.

Giving a prop who wasn't good enough, or big enough last year a new two year contact means there are going to be problems this year. Looking at the other Championship club's squads, we will be lucky to get 6th place once again.

How many more seasons do we have to give Finney before we get rid???? Something needs to change at the top, we can't keep blaming coaches.

Will Tilleke is 21/22, not many props are good enough at that age. So what do we do, bin him off, or keep him, loan him out to learn his trade, and reap the dividends down the line? There's not much patience with the Posters on this Messageboard. The lad is not on a King's ransom, not many are in this division.

I’d say loan tilleke out with a recall option if we need him back to cover injuries. Not likely to be a starting prop and won’t improve sitting in the stands.
