Are we shaping up for another disaster?

Is this going to be another disappointing season? We’ve not really signed any game changers we’ve got amor but is he past it? Tom Gilmore was good at batley with a big pack but how will he do here, with the likes of will tilleke leading the line? Is it time for finny to step down and and let someone else take charge.

I am on the fence but a change at the top is required. Jobs for the boys as Tilleke is bang average at best.

Will be a hard watch it will be 5 drives and a kick with no attacking entertaining rugby, a typical Kear team full of plodders with no creativity. Need another centre and a winger plus back rowers who can actually break the line and be able to pass the ball. Yes definitely time for the silent CEO to disappear. With the resigning announcements starting to regret my season ticket renewal.

Good to see the overwhelming optimism for next season and the anti-Finney comments starting early. Maybe Finney will soon be running out of mates to sign, or maybe we are heading for a fantastic season in 2023 and the optimism for the club will have no bounds; and Finney will be given hero status at the club for orchestrating some top class signings (even if they are all his mates!!) and getting us back into SL. Then maybe not!!

I am pretty underwhelmed by the signings to date, but being ever the optimist hope that Kear can gel the players into a top end Championship team.

Don’t get me wrong fellas, I really want this season to be a success but with are recent recruitment and retentions I think it’s gonna be another struggle to get top 6….

Super League is like that though.

Another underwhelmed fan, here.

The whole squad lacks ‘x factor’, full of hard working players but nothing to get you off your seat.

Kear is going to have to be some coach to get us competing at the top end of the table

I'd ask again, don't you think Super League is like that? That's just the way RL is these days. Seems to me anyway.

Reckon were looking at about an 8th place finish going off retentions and new signings.

I think the players come in so far are better and add something to what we previously had, however I do think more should of been released Tileke for example nothing against the lad but he’s all effort but not good enough where 2 years has come from I will never know for someone who’s played 9 games last year and most of them was when there was no forwards left to pick from. A year I’d half accept but 2 on the basis of that my mind wonders, same as Lyons earning 2 years last time around for your third choice half back who’s ineffective the vast majority of games he plays, we do really need a bit of strike in that side a strike back rower and other centre could change the out looks but other than Dixon and evans the back line is pretty workmen like again especially if flemming is not at full back

@d-day couldn’t agree more, it’s like the board pretend to listen to fans and sell us the dream of “ spending more this season” but then continue to sign a team full of squad players no actual game winners

Did the club ever confirm there would be more £££ for next season or was it a TIW rumour?

Without 2/3 'rabbits out of the hat' signings, imo it will same old, same old mid table dire stuff
