I heard we have a new investor and heard that ISA, GILMORE, and JOHNSTONE, were all coming back for next season.

Without being negative, why are we not looking for new blood instead of bringing players back to the club who are either too old like ISA, or players like GILMORE and JOHNSTONE who, without being disrespectful, haven't really done that well since leaving three years ago, why do we never find 'gems' like other clubs do, Swinton do far more often than us.

I know ISA has had a decent career since he left us, but he's knocking on a bit, its a similar issue with AMOR. JOHNSTONE is 'ok' I guess but GILMORE will struggle without a big pack in front of him as he is an organiser, and we don't seem to recognise the fact that in the championship you need a big pack.

I am a season ticket holder, and again without being negative, I can see a restless crowd getting with the the board once again next season as FINNEY is getting players in that he likes and 'not' the players that would get us challenging at the top end of the table, getting smaller, older players who won't play a great amount of games due to injuries but on larger salaries will create division amongst the rest of the squad.

Can you tell us who the investor is and who  told you who the investor is, please ?

Maybe if we turn in to Swinton and find "gems" we'll end up in League 1 as well.

Cross and Dupree have both gone up to Super League from Widnes in the past 12 months.

Absolutely comical that people can criticise a rumoured signing of Isa (which won't happen) and say he's not good enough for us 9th in the Championship when he currently plays week in week out for the Challenge Cup winners and 2nd best team in Super League!

In the one full season Gilmore has played since leaving Widnes, he was shortlisted for Championship Player of the Year playing for Batley. Just how "well" could he have done?

@jdgsport Quite right James and Johnstone has not done too bad at Hull.

Do the experts on here actually believe that Finnigan and now Kear can only bring in players who are mates with Finney, or who he likes? Let’s hope he has a few mates who are also liked by Kear.

Gilmore, Amor, Johnstone and Isa would all be welcome additions to the squad in 2023, if there is any truth in the rumours and Kear actually wants them here.
