Beaten by a fitter (even though they played on Sunday) and more organised team.

We have some good players but it's the same plays most of the time and I'm sure the opposition coach knows that too.

Bore off about AH should have just put the 50k in a year when he was part of the Board instead of dangling it like a dead carrot now.

In terms of the game, terribly terribly poor. Can’t turn up against the average teams and then be this poor against stronger teams. Hope Donny lose all their best players next year because their turnover must be shite.

Disagree with you here because Andy Horabin brought a lot of businesses to invest in the club. Done more than a few who are currently on the board.

Simply not good enough.

What is our game plan 5 drives and a poor kick?

AC is out of his depth against the top 4 teams, does well against the likes of hunslet and goole but lacks any tactical awareness to change a game we’re so predictable it’s embarrassing. Played 2 of the biggest packs in the league and chose to have 2 of the smallest 2nd rows playing.

We have found our level now I think 5th at best. That’s 2 real poor performances at home tho and shouldn’t be happening.

Maybe some of the players should have laid off the Colombian marching powder in the Griffin after the Oldham game. Some o f the players were openly sniffing in the Griffin as part of their post game warm down.

I did not go tonight but what I saw against Oldham we lacked size in the pack. Max Roberts gives his all, but is not big enough for a back rower if we want to beat the top teams. This might be controversial but I feel Jack Owens and Gilmore need to leave with 2 decent halfbacks next year. Definitely need 2 strong centres which we have in Edge and miss him when is injured.

Typical scouse mentally wishing ill on other clubs, sadly for you we've never been in a better position off the field with a huge amount of sponsors and a rising attendance and not to mention staging world cup games and challenge cup semi's. The way widnes/doncaster are run couldn't be more different hence we are a progressive club

Our pack lacks size, and when you see Bent is in our pack you know were're going to get beat.

Geography not your strong point comeonyoudons? Widnes is in Cheshire, not Merseyside you muppet.

Go and discuss the win on your own forum, if you have enough fans of your own to debate with.

Very rarely post on here.......just a lurker really, but after the last couple of weeks a few things ive wanted to say.

Oldham game we showed something although beaten by the stronger side, it happens and sometimes you have to hold ur hand up.

Tonight was appaling not in the game at all, that was on AC tonight not being able to get a tune out of a strong side we put out. Oldham away is the only game weve stood up and beat a decent team....

As foR scouseviking....do one with ur pathetic attitude in regards to investment AH and KB, negative coward response to everything thats mentioned even when people mention the name twinny.....ur a joke lad.

Imo opinion its difficult to consider putting money into the club every month when the board are refusing investment and resfusing to put money in themselves.......the investor mentioned wants whats the best the club and it really shouldnt be dismissed.

I have seen Mike P comment on FB that people in 'leadership roles' did not bother to come in and talk to supporters as I presume is usually the case?

Can anybody shed any light?

Historically Donny cannot hold a candle to Widnes- fact....

However right now they have assembled a better team.

More widely, the last 2 games have crystallised the fact that we can beat the dross but lose to anyone in our sphere.

AC will be questioned understandably but lets judge at the end of the season.

What is quite clear is without investment and vision we are screwed.

For a board to actively and deliberately refuse /turn down investment while also at the same time refusing to put further investment in themselves is not in any shape or form acting in the best interests or the club ...anyone that thinks otherwise has got a cow dung for a brain ....this board has also let Tim Holmes walk ...a man who was a huge driver of club engagement....those that don't see this as a problem will be screaming the loudest when we're back to the Hamilton days of being told nothing ....and make no mistake it's coming....

Some are missing the point ... Those said investors namely AH and LB could have put funds into the club which particularly on the playing side would have enabled us to maybe place a bond and operate with a bigger budget ... It would have significantly allowed us to properly challenge at the top ...this club can't understand the concept that onfield success breeds success off it ....the other option was to refuse the investment and sit in mediocrity for the foreseeable....see higher earners leave (and they are) and bring in budget alternatives .....that's the course of action this board has deemed fit ....that's not acting for the club ...it's sitting in your chair in a little clique and back slapping yourself refusing the option for someone to take your place  and try more financially....it's stinking of self importance....

Personally I'm fully expecting this board to go full starmer and refuse previous access to those that have been given it for transparency purposes...

LB has been welcomed with open arms at Salford ...AH was previously seen as fit enough to sit on the board ...now he's not ....

Maybe any future statement should read "were open to investment aslong as you put money in and keep your gob shut and dance to our tune "

Just when everything was moving in the right direction very quickly with ...matchday experience... engagement etc the clubs now hit self destruct yet again ...
