Maybe so, but the other two are dreadful. Bent might the least effective prop forward I’ve ever seen. Tries hard but is nowhere near good enough.

He played back-row for Oldham, so not sure why we're intent in using him as a prop. Gregory's not played. I don't think they were signed to be starting 17 players. In terms of issues, signing players from Oldham is low down on the list I would say.

I would say we are using as a prop because we don't have enough props. See also Baker and Field. Only two out and out props in the 17 today. A recurring theme. Hopefully the signings of Amor and Johnson are signs that this may finally not be an issue in 2023.

Come on, we know who put the squad together, Phil FINNEY! He's doing it again in signing a 35yr old AMOR. Signing players without as coaches input is poor, the coach has a ready made excuse before he's even started. Is he going to give the older players like Craven, Smith, Grady and Tyrer new contracts for next year? Most probably, but even if he doesn't the squad is going to need an massive overhaul.

FINNEY out, enough is enough!

Just don't see why with that 17 today you wouldn't go Hulme instead of Bent. They're trying to ease workload off 2 of the middles (when surely a 4 of Farnworth, Doro, Baker and Field is enough), and leaving Fozard out there like a lamb to the slaughter.

Totally predictable in attack and the tipping point when defending seemingly always comes against anyone vaguely competent.

IMHO, Half backs and centres are more of an issue than the likes of Bent who whilst not a world beater at least looks to put a shift in.

Been spoken about since February that an Interchange Hooker is needed.

Obviously the Brains Trust in the Coaching Setup think they are right and we are wrong.

Need new blood in all areas of the club. Coach by the York game is an absolute must, 3258 there today with maybe 300 or so from Bradford, could be really bad on the 12th.

Agree need a coach before sign any more players. We have signed a lot of shite players and why we sign 4 players from a Relegated team. That Bent is absolutely terrible 💩💩🙈 History as one of the shittest players.

@jdgsport - I agree Hulme would have been a better option than Bent today.

After staying to the bitter end of todays game, and seeing lots of spectators leaving in the last 20 minutes, it’s obvious something had to change. But what?

Bradford were bigger, fitter and a lot better than us. IMHO a new coach will obviously improve our fitness and tactics, but can’t change the size and technical ability of players.

This

We have too many players that are just not up to standard. Lyons, Smith, Tyrer, Edge and Speading as a minimum from todays 17 should be nowhere near a championship team.

Our backline is just poor. Seen lots of criticism of our pack over the last few weeks but they generally get through the work. But being in the arm wrestle is no good if your halves, 9 and Fullback have zero creativity.

The real worry is how acceptable these kind of performances have become, Booing is pointless now since the issue is less effort and more that the club have recruited poorly.

And lastly, Lyons MOM? seriously a less efective Rugby league player it would be hard to find, his Mum must be the one picking the winner.

It might be pie in the sky but we need a backer with a lot of money or I fear it will always be this way. Widnes still produces quality tough rugby players but if they are any good they go to a SL team.

Just as an aside, Barrow, who were in the third division just nine months ago, came within three minutes of beating Leigh today and are in 6th place in the table.Shows what can be done with a limited squad and the right application.

Correct even though floppy recently with these poor performances. Lost my passion and one of the biggest clubs in the league with one of the worse squads in the league. Who bought these shite players Finnigan or the board? 💩💩💩🙈
