I think the squad is weaker than the 2nd half of last season as we have lost Condon and Maizen. Bibby is solid enough but again he was with us in the 2nd half of the season last year.
We havent addressed the 3 key areas: Size/quality in the pack, pace out wide and the ability to score tries.
Patton wasnt the answer at half back, i'm not sure Abdull is either, but lets give him 8 - 10 games and see where hes up to. I really hope he comes good.
Although the top 3 teams have gone up, some of the teams below us I feel have added more quality like London, Sheffield and Doncaster, hence me going for the same position as last year. We could pip Barrow to 6th place, I think only a few points in it.
Good assessment. As others have said, it's Colemans squad and it's weaker than last year. I can't see Abdul playing that many games, we've not addressed a lack of size in the pack and the lack of pace.
We'll be lucky to make top ten, and if we don't Coleman has to go at the end of the year.
We haven't signed like a club trying to make the top 4 signings from n wales instead of swinton this year keeping the slowest backline I remember and a lack of point scoring that we've had for a couple of years if they are all Coleman decisions I think it'll backfire on him quickly
I reckon we will come 5th, with Sheffield, Oldham, London and Halifax ahead of us.
Personally I don't believe AC will be under any more pressure than before, I think the pressure will be on the commercial team, especially as we won't be playing the three went up. The Leeds draw will help.
On the field, we look stronger than at the start of last season, except Lannon who was missed. Missing Lawton and Gilmore for the start will be a set back, no doubt. As others have said I don't think the season will count for much, other than improving the IMG score and the commercial side of the club. I am interested to see if the younger lads fight their way in to the team, and if Alan is going to rotate the squad more, this is definitely the season to do it.

Gregson and Lyons keep getting contracts and we need better players than them. Coleman seems to pick his mates too often, and sport is brutal and it a results game. Personally if does not get top 4 Coleman needs to go.
