Few beers tonight, watching GB v Australia games.
The Aussie tours of yesteryear were things of magnificence. Seeing our teams pit themselves against those players was fantastic. I remember seeing the Aussies at Naughton Park of course but, as a family, we also ventured to other grounds to watch the tour games, they were all superb spectacles.
The last video I watched tonight was the 1st test at Wembley 1994 when Jiffy scored that try. Edwards was sent off early. It wasn't a try-fest, 8-4 it ended up. But look at the effort from GB, look at the legends in the Aussie team, what a match! Jiffy was superb, Bobby was a ledge, it was a massive effort. The series never came home of course but, by Christ, it was RL at it's finest. Oh, for those days again.

I was there that night, and it still remains the highlight of the 60+ years that I've been a fan of the Greatest Game on the Planet!
Spelly.
