it amazes me how many people think this is good and exciting, compared to Rl. I’m bored stiff so far, has there been a shot on target yet? We usually get within 10 yards of the goal and pass it backwards a couple of times and get back to the halfway line

Just like RL teams doing 5 charges up the middle then a free-for-all kick up in the air. Most SL games I watch follow that formula.
The WC has been decent so far, that game tonight was probably the worst so far (or thereabouts).
RL at its best is a top sport, there's a lot of average games though.
