Wonder if the new lad will be involved?

Also, I wonder whether we will be sticking with Lyons and Gilmore after a few good wins.

A win here, coupled hopefully with Wembley hangovers for Halifax and Batley could leave us well amongst the contenders!

I'm looking for a convincing win here, confidence seems high and hope its the start of wins against top sides. I Expect Craven to be back and I would expect him to play as well so not sure if Lyons will be in the seventeen which seems a shame but I also assume the new chap will also start from the bench. Widnes by thirty points

Reading the York forum they do not seem confident with a few injuries. Craven to replace Lyons but near enough same team for me that is winning.

I cant think of a good reason to bring Craven in, hope we continue to pick on form rather than reputation.

Craven shouldn't walk into the team.Apart from anything else he's a big risk now with his hamstring going twang again and having to reshuffle the team.

@sinbad

Thought it was his calf muscle? But agree with you re Craven, at best he might be on the bench.

Jack Owens might ready for a run too.

It is a hard question as we run down to the end of season when we have the prospect of running our 'chosen' best in Owens, Craven, and Gilmore at last all fit together. Do we go for it with them or not?

They have so much experience in common, know each others 'plays' etc that it is a real question.

It'll be a tough game on Sunday, York have found a bit of form themselves - it's probably do or die for their play off ambitions. They'll have a slim chance of making it if they can get a win.

Leave the team as it is, 4 wins on the spin, no need to change anything unless there are injuries.

Not sure why anyone would expect a convincing win.

Will be a tough game. Both sides been playing well. Would be happy with a win by any score and will go for Widnes by 8.

Would hope to win this one, but it would be harsh to drop anyone. who has been a constant in the last few games , and not only because we have had decent results, but there seems to be some real confidence and the players look to be enjoying themselves , which has not always been the case.

Our Leeds prop is not in the starting 21 but Craven is, but he has been for the last three👍

Strange one, but I don't think on our Widnes Official site at all. So seems a rumour to me. Pascal fired up and be interesting the team with our strong squad. Same team I think. 👌🥖🥖🥖

It looks like JJ is 18th man for Castleford this weekend. The fans seem to be happy he isn't playing. To be honest it seems Forber is an upgrade on him. 💪👌👍🥖🥖🇫🇷
