just what is the point for us?

I suppose we have to keep going for when the goalposts are inevitably moved again but this sport doesn't half make me annoyed sometimes.

It’s nothing we didn’t already know but it’s bad press for the club. Hopefully the board will listen to potential investors and who knows we could be going to a hybrid squad next season and then full time in 2028. Personally I can’t see us being able to move up until 2029

With rule changes, this idiotic fixture list, teams going chips etc. the Championship is like a death of a thousand cuts. I don't even feel like I'm a fan of a team anyway there's that little going on. Managed decline.

@gpo1971 For what it's worth, my opinion is that this is the RFL Masterplan. The shite will fold, and all that will be left are  a sufficient number of Clubs to cover feeder teams for the 12 SL Clubs in the UK. The French teams will utilise their Elite Comp as their feeders. The Game is up, I'm afraid. @Mckviking is deluded if he thinks we are capable of going to a Hybrid, then a FT squad. There is no investment, or at the moment, any potentially incoming. FT Players would demand £40/50k minimum. IT IS NOT HAPPENING ON CROWDS OF 2000!

Could we be the only club in championship or superleague who would turn down the investors like we supposedly have… maybe the “custodians” of the club have a master plan or maybe they just like the control and don’t want to lose it either way i agree we've no chance of a hybrid squad. We will be the Widnes Wolves in no time

@widnesviking And when that happens we are going up the steps of the RL Dignitas Clinic. The inertia of investment is killing the Club. If we are not careful there will be nothing to invest in.

Totally understand the negativity, but maybe we need to look beyond this

ok London go up hudds ? Come down

then next year as no agreement between the convicts about investment all on hold

so another season of York having paltry crowds, Toulouse ditto

either or both of their backers will walk

that would leave the super cooper league requiring teams

who may that be ?

@7-vikingnomad that's one way too look at it nomad !!! But this is rfl and nrl so

if York Toulouse hudds cas aren't cutting it in a couple of years I don't think there'll be spaces I think they'll cut the number down again or retry a Cardiff , Dublin , New York, franchise
