We are playing Rochdale in the 1895, the Doncaster game will have to be rearranged. We could have played it tomorrow, but the wedding gazebo is still up, apparently it’s there for 4/5 weeks , nothing we can do about it, because the council own the ground.

Its Dewsbury at home in the league on the 7th. Rochdale is the 14th replacing Doncaster. We have no free weekends after the next 2 so if we get to the final we are looking at 2 mid-week games. The marquee isnt up for 4/5 weeks as we are playing at home in 2 weeks.

I was thinking better to play Dewsbury on the Saturday after 2 weeks rest then Donny on the Wednesday. That way we play 3 games in a week (Dewsbury, Donny, Rochdale) but get 3 days inbetween them. If we play Sunday then Wednesday it only gives a 2 day break.

@dan1 We do still have one free weekend, just before the end of the season on August 9th, but unfortunately Doncaster have got a game that day. But perhaps we could try and play it on Wednesday 5th, then we would 11 days before our next match away at Halifax

Donny will not like a midweek fixture here, which could help us massively

onwards and upwards !

Shame we couldn't have played Donny today ground permitting would have saved a midweek fixture

I asked the other day and no one seemed to know , why 2 games where allowed to be played today, when the RL don’t normally let teams play on Challenge Cup final weekends. It would have been very helpful for us to have brought forward the Doncaster game, to today, to save playing it in midweek.

Totally agree there

the other thing as well is when we beat NWC they had a decent team and now they are crap

points difference is massively skewed- even the fraud registered a big score

we are not the worst sufferers mind as NWC did beat some teams

it really is not fair (same as salfraud having no points deduction )

The good news is we play them again in 5 weeks, hopefully we’ll put out a strong team and batter  them and help our points difference, and not rest our best players.

The fixtures for the whole league are a mess full stop. Weeks without home games then a glut of them and some that we have to re-arrange due to the Degsy Cup.

The table is starting to level out now but Midlands/Newcastle have far ‘easier’ fixtures than us and it shows in the whopping points diff column.

Amateur at best from the RFL fixture planners.

The table has definitely taken shape but i think if we had Newcastle and Midlands fixtures we be top 2 now. They need to look at it differently but it seems they want a plan as reserve teams for Super League. Absolute joke the RFL and I hope fixtures even out better next season, or the RFL hope a few teams go bust.

Weren't they the make up games after Fev dropped out, we squeezed the Goole games into free weekends, this may have been the only option to avoid a midweek fixture
