I'd be amazed if Mamo was interested in the slightest in playing championship rugby. He could easily get another SL gig or move back to NRL/regional Aussie.
I’d be baffled if we signed another winger. We have five in the squad, admittedly one has a fairly long term injury but we have zero cover at centre, halfbacks and could also use a prop.

Correct, for the last 2 games we have only been able to name 21 players. If 1 more player gets injured we would only be able to name 20 players in the 21 man match squad.
Gilmore, Roberts and Millar will be out for a while, so when we get Farnworth back in 4 weeks we will only be running with a 23 man squad. Without an academy, reserves or dual reg its not enough.
If we get two or 3 more players injured or Johnstone and Farnworth have reflames on injuries we are buggered. Personally I be looking at 2 or 3 loan players for 3 months, then Gilmore and Max Roberts won't be far away to play.
I am not sure where these players will come from but we do have Salford, Wigan, Saints, Leigh and Warrington in the catchment area.

Most championship clubs have strengthened this week Dan Norman at swinton on loan yet our dual reg partner Rochdale have took 2 players from Sheffield!! Lack of desire and ambition I'm afraid obviously we short if can't send out players down to our bare bones but no interest in getting players in

You don't know that is true - we may be trying really hard but just not able to "borrow" the type of player we need and want.
Mind you, Dan Norman would be useful at present.
We do make a lot of excuses for total inertia in our club we are down to bare bones yet we can't find the players we need yet every other club can !!we lack ambition and always try to just get by if other clubs can loan and find players why can't we ? I mean Dan Norman he's five mile down the road !!!
I’d question our relationship with st helens if Dan Norman is picking swinton over us. We might not have enquired about him though. It would be nice to hear something from the club regarding any incoming players
@mckviking It may be something to do with our pitch.I think plenty of clubs don't want their players playing on it,unless they have to.
We enquired about loan players from Saints last year and they wanted eye watering around paying for them.
Wanted their wage in full covered when they went out on loan. Waste of money
