Owen, Ince, Fleming, Tyrer, Holyroyd, Craven, Smith, Dupree, Fozzard, Baker, Bent, Davies, Brown. Subs Lawton, Farnworth, Dec Gregory/Hulme, Nzog

Pascal thinks Bent will be one to watch has plenty of passion.

Sorry forgot about Wilde so he replaces Davies. What a squad compared to last year. Still Grady, Tilleke, Brooks, Edge, Lyons, Roby and Spedding in Reserve

My thoughts below, which may soon be proven wrong! Agree with you Pascal about Bent, really like him and believe he is proving himself in training just not sure he will make it at the start of the season? Only left Levy out due to injury

Owens

Brookes

Tyrer

Fleming

Ince

Craven

Smith

Farnworth

Fozzard

Dupree

Lawton

Wilde

Baker

Brown

Davies

Lyons

Grady

Lots of good responses so far, agree Fleming will probably be starting centre - did a good job at dewsbury

second row - wow so many choices and it shows we have some strength in depth this season

if no scrums again, we may be ahead of the game

onwards and upwards !

Reading most of the table predictions in the RL press they have us down as finishing 8th this season. Last year we had a poor season and actually also finished 8th. After signing 11 new players I hope we can prove them wrong and make the play off places.

Hey very positive this forum it makes a change. I have seen the Predictions as 8th position, and I usually say the bookies are usually about correct, but i disagree this time because Yorkshire biased. 😂 On a serious note the options are unbelievable and shows in the different team selections. Injuries will occur and the depth will help, and if I was picky I would like one big nasty prop, but I feel we have gone with speed, enthusiasm and youth.  Feeling the passion already and a positive vibe.

If we finish 8th again, it will prove that the recruitment process at the club has failed again. SF and PF surely couldn't survive that.

I'm very hopeful we can finish higher: the major issues we had were at 9 and with size in the pack. We have definitely addressed the Hooker issue and I am hoping that because we have signed a number of forwards with a lot of experience in this league, if not necessarily loads of big props, that we will be more streetwise.

Everyone is picking Tyrer but he is unavailable for a few months. He is recovering from surgery.🏥🏥

As are others players.

Not sure why we don’t hear anything from the club anymore. A basic injury update shouldn’t be too much to ask

@viking25  Correct

We cannot even get squad numbers which would be an indicator of the starting 13 when everyone is fit.

Wonder whether its been kept quiet because people were buying season tickets?

But I suppose if Tyrer is out it explains the signing of Fleming...

I would say 6th or 8th is a fair prediction. Yes we have strengthened, but so have other clubs. Still a lack of props is a worry for me, Grady is a decent player but not a prop. Its my opinion that this will once again be our down fall. The club have stated they have learnt from last, the most glaring error was a lack of big men in the middle to get stuck into the opposing packs, which is a big must in the pack dominated championship. It's ok have young fit lads who are really second rows to stand it but it doesn't work over the season. COYV.

If this is right and Tyler is out then the centres against batley will probably be Fleming and ? Roby ?

@ditton-donkey if Tyler can’t player we still have Tryer and perhaps even, at a push, Tyrer ?

Sorry, couldn’t help myself, autocorrect just makes me laugh 😊😊
