Just a 20-man squad again. Same as last week bar Roby returning from loan and Farnworth being out. Really hope we can get Clough on the pitch or our prop situation will be worse than ever.
Don't see the point of a squad list with players who aren't fit or not available for other reasons.
Halifax are unbeaten in 3 months or so, won 9 games on the trot I believe.
another trouncing awaits.
Oh Joy.
We should have beaten them in the reverse fixture. Got zero confidence that we will do anything however.
Halifax have also only named 20 in fairness.

Key could be if Clough and Wilde are fit or just named to pad out the numbers like last week. If its Roby in for Farnworth then we could be in trouble as we will have 3 backs on the bench as well as one starting in the 2nd row.

I assume we have given up on the season hence not making any loan signings in the forwards. Makes sense really as we should finish just above the bottom 2 so may as well not waste money. The only problem being after a year out and then an awful season, fan retention could be a real issue.
12-46 for me 🙁
Be nice if the last 3 home games can be used positively in terms of maybe the announcement of a signing or two; or promote a good deal on Season Tickets because I can't see too much in terms of quality Rugby from us.

We came close at Halifax in the pouring rain

So I look forward to a big effort on Sunday
It's maybe the day that Adam lawton breaks into a sweat.
Only 2 props again. A very weak bench. So again virtually beaten before we start. Lets hope the boys give of their best but it must be difficult being so overpowered up front although they have at least one prop missing too.
Strong start and a well worked try.
Good effort 1st half. Let's see how the 2nd half goes.
Well done Widnes 16 - 6.Now just defend.
Wonder what the attendance is?
good win well done lads
Well played
