Nice to see more resilience, Fax were poor. Pity it is so late in the season to see a decent result and performance like this!!
Fax won 9 in a row ? Including us by 1 point, there is only 1 team in this league and they will be gone by season end, then the fun begins!
hopefully our recruitment is well under way and dead wood gone we will have more funds
i am expecting a great season next year
but the set up of the leagues will be key to this, I understand the 1895 cup as it gives more fixtures to the lower teams, but this would be better in the northern rail format - groups of 4/5 playing each other giving more games

Brookes played fine. We seem to have a crop of decent youngsters capable of playing on the wing.

I enjoyed the win today, achieved as it was with threadbare resources. I think today summed up some of the many frustrations around the club. This is a group of players not without ability or talent. Yet they have managed to mask it this season. This is a strange and manufactured season, the RFL are intent on Toulouse ascending to SL yet I think Feath may well spoil the party. The mood in the stadium was dull at KO but by the end we had all come round to do what we do best supporting our team. Halifax had a decent following based on a 9 match winning run. Today they were hustled out of the game. I will awake tomorrow looking at the week in a more positive light. The doom merchants are few and far between on here tonight , but there’s time yet.
