I’ve been trying to get tickets for the game on Sunday from their website. It keeps freezing and crashing. I’ve also phoned the club but could only leave a message. Has anyone managed to get their tickets this way. Next question. Can you pay on the day. TIA
I managed to get some earlier but it took a few goes to finally get to pay for them. Its a very unfriendly site pages not loading and other things like that. I was about to phone but finally got through to the payment page.
Ordered four tickets for £80 and the add on costs were £7, that's not happening! Tried phoning re pay on day only to be put through to someone who has not worked there for 4 years +!! . Anyone who can advise on pay on the day it will be appreciated.
I wpuld lile to know about paying on the day too. If can pay on walk up does entry charge increase?
You can pay at the ticket office on the day, but they’re £3 more, but if you buy them online they’re £2.10 a ticket more , so you pay more than the £20 advertised price either way.
Also no concessions.
Not sure if it’s still a thing but didn’t away clubs used to get a portion like 20% years ago of tickets bought in advance? I know it may be a ball ache but the clubs definitely gets nowt if you pay on the day

They stopped this payment because clubs like Widnes benefit more than Batley or Swinton for example. If we take 400 to 500 fans they miss out on quite a bit of money if only averaging 800 to 1k fans in their ground. I will not go away games unless a cup game and we get commission. Prefer to put my money to WVIPS so we can spend more. Suppose everyone does not think like me but my logic with this salary cap and I want my team the best in the league. 😂👍
@begg ahhh ok I didn’t realise.
Ignore me and carry on fellas 🫡
That is just my mind set process because I can only go a few games a season, so home games a priority for me travelling from Andover. If we all had my mind process then nobody be going away games to support their team, and some people are free from work every weekend. I must admit I think they should give 15% to away ticket sales, it then might make more people go to the away games. We are lucky to get a mini bus coming to Widnes from most teams in this league. 😂👌
The 'cashback' scenario is dependant on the two Clubs mutual consent. I think Widnes/Salford fixtures are the only ones that have an agreement in place. (Which makes sense)

I think it was similar with Bradford last season. You think it be a good idea to advertise if bought tickets from the club a percentage will go to Widnes? Just some people might think like me. 😂👍
Decent win puts us 4th in the odd job league lol 😂

Don't forget, Barrow - one place behind us - have a game in hand which, if they win, will put them ahead of us due to our poor points aggregate.
We missed a chance today to really improve this.
@sunny yes but we not really a point scoring machine are we we don't play that sort of game
