Think it should have been a Halifax style 54-0 but some silly mistakes throwing forward passes when there was 2 walk in tries and not converting some field position.

However, should never be complaining after a win!

Win is a win no matter how underwhelming at times .... serious problems now for Newcastle game ...both chapelhow and McWhirter both picked up bad injuries by sound of things and both out .... unlikely to have brown aswel ....so literally got Murray billington  Houghton and langtree two of which aren't even front rows ....gonna be bit powderpuff and against a big aggressive pack ....can but keep hope tho 🤞

Chapelhow dislocated his finger. Sad as I thought he was having his best game since his return. Made some good yardage. Langtree is now definitely a prop, in my eyes. He's also dangerous with ball-in-hand. The two loanees looked a handful. Joe Edge is now SL standard. Very powerful in possession. Credit to Salford for putting in a lot of effort, and not throwing in the towel. They'll be a lot better next season.

Paulie xx

@cumbria-viking is there a reason for no brown?

he can’t be cup-tied for the 1895 for any other competition and if leigh don’t need him on Saturday…

@scouseviking55 think it was strictly a one week loan mate  to get minutes in his legs n supposedly be back in leighs squad for weekend ..plus saw somewhere they'd picked up a couple of knocks in France ... hopefully we can have him again coz certainly need him now ...I know barrow hold the option on his availability but they don't play till the following Wednesday anyway....

What injury did Mcquirter get? I saw him signal to the physio but then he carried on and joined the defensive line and made the next tackle before coming off.

Is Chapelhowes finger just dislocated rather than broken? If so cant they just pop it back in and tape it up for the next game?
