Top of the pile!

I presume you'd have settled for that before a ball was kicked?

Well done, but can you keep it up?

Unbiased answers only please! 🤣

I fancy us against any team at home, and most away to be fair. Fev & Leigh are always going to be a tough ask, but we are fitter, the youngsters are a year older/more mature. We would have lost today over the last 4 years. I always felt confident since last Sunday. I'm sure it will be 4 from 4 a week tomorrow.

To be honest John, the way we are playing we can beat most and give the division  favourites a close game. Our half back Generals are directing the troops around the field superbly, with the forwards showing plenty of spirit and direction driving the opposition back while our back division are scoring points for us. Think we will now finish in the top three. Dare to dream, top two!!!

Got to be in with a chance of keeping the run going over the next few games. Dewsbury away and Barrow at home are both winnable, as should be York at home and Newcastle away. Leigh will be difficult but we have home advantage. Early days but there seems a much better team spirit and resolve about the 2022 Squad. Last year you could hardly predict the outcome of 2 games in a row, indeed wins were often surprises and our ability to fall to pieces, from seemingly winning positions was all too evident.

Discipline is much much better and we are the better for it. Fitness and as mentioned the camaraderie among the team is there for all to see and a big rap for Simon Finnegan and his team along with the players

Well done on the discipline, but.............

As I mentioned in our report, lack of that particular quality, was hugely evident in the Lions' line-up today. 10-3 (deserved) hammering in the penalty count.

It is early days but  we could not ask for anymore so far especially with Owens, Tyrer, Grady, Farnworth  &  Spedding out injured plus the prop Nzoungou from Bradford not yet played. Was hoping for a top 6 spot before a ball was kicked but now feel we will get one & if not completely devastated with Injuries are capable of making 4th if not 3rd. Doro did very well for us today & not sure how often we will get him on loan from Warrington after this month loan ends. Levy Nzoungou may turn out to be as good  who knows? We seem to have good strong cover for all positions except prop.

So to answer your question can we keep the form up. I would say yes but Leigh & Featherstone, especially Featherstone  have the edge on us strength wise. So no I do not think we can finish top of the pile at season end, but think we are probably in for a good season.

Sorry to see Swinton lose today. I thought you would have edged that one.

Spelly passionate Pascal will tell you the truth. Top 4 definitely and why not compete with Leigh or Featherstone on our day. I quite like been under dogs and they are only human at the end of the day, so we can upset Leigh or Featherstone. But if a betting man I think 3rd and we can build under a good coach. We have competition for places and only weak position I would say is prop, but we have Levy and Farnworth still to play and come back. Fingers crossed Warrington don't get too many injuries in the forwards. 💪🤞

I predicted sixth at the start of the season but based on the excellent early performances and results I’d now be disappointed if we don’t at least make the top four. There’s obviously a good team spirit and winning mentality in the squad. The new signings that have played have slotted in really well. Dupree as expected looks really good and Davies has been a revelation. I didn’t really know much about him before he signed and thought he would maybe be a squad player but he’s been exceptional so far.
