A Widnes lad too. If we could have all the local players from Superleague we would be in a better position.🤣

Many are pushing him to play in the WC for England.

It’s an absolute travesty that he barely played fullback for Widnes. 

Remember him playing at full back for us and was a star in the making but was forever being injured which was a real shame

If he was really that good, wouldn't one of the bigger clubs be after signing him?

@martin he never really got a run there. In 2019, he was played on the wing as Owen’s was fullback.

@sunny How do you know they are not? Anyway he enjoys his life in France.

He got the number one shirt for 2019 over Owens, but always seemed to be injured.

The games he was fit for especially at the start of the season, he was shifted on the wing. Still a massive shame. 

Imagine a Widnes Team with Ashall at Full back, Smith at 7, Walter’s and Delaney in the forwards. Four Widnes lads with big futures.
