The black one looks like the third kit from last year but the green one!!! WTF
Really?
Yeah, I think so, looks more like something you would get in next than a rugby shirt. Might be an age thing .
Hope they sell well but I’m disappointed by both jerseys probably the poorest since Matchwinner supplied the club. Also I think the Logo needs a redesign It will be always be connected to the regime that nearly drove the club into the ground,I really hope this is addressed by 2023,Maybe the club can design some logos for the fans to vote on for next years jerseys and merchandise.
Neither of them look like Widnes kits to me, what ever that means.
The away one isn’t too bad, but the home looks a shocker- like a training kit.
Agreed V25, because “proper” Widnes shirts should have either a “V” or hoops!!
How many combinations of B&W can you contrive? I have a relative who follows the Pie Eaters whose followers face the same dilemma. Not sure the green one will rock off the shelves but who knows? Hopefully Santa may well be able to deliver to avoid vulnerable Widnes children being subjected to primrose & blue. UTV
Perhaps they should do shirts in a variety of shades for the fashion conscious!
They're rugby shirts for God's sake!!!!
just testing how to upload pics
I have to admit to being underwhelmed by both these designs. They really don't look anything special. I can't say what I am looking for, but these aren't it.
Not impressed with either kit. Agreed the home one looks like an 'ok' training top, the green one gives me a headache. Not had a decent black and white kit for a while now, shame.
The squad numbers should be issued the same time as the shirts are out as to let the kids get their fav players number on it. That's only if Frank thinks it not putting too much pressure on the club.
@richard-richard I see your point but as I’ve said it’s probably the most important time of the year for Rugby League Clubs trying to get much needed revenue into the club especially below Super League…A sale of 200-300 shirts at £30 to £45 a pop is nothing to be sniffed at and may just contribute to getting another player in before the start of the season.
Is this because they're sold at 100% profit?
Every little helps of course, but if you think 300 shirt sales will contribute to/provide a new signing I fear you'll be disappointed!!
@torn-sock-1 All I said was any shirt sales would contribute to maybe a new signing nothing more nothing less don’t be pedantic

Well done Mick. You complained about the delay in announcing the kit design. That announcement has been made and now you are complaining about squad numbers not being announced. I am not sure why the club will be under pressure because you are not happy. Maybe the squad numbers will be released this week in time for the availability of replica kits from the Club shop. What's your next complaint?
This thread is brilliant, typical Widnes. Shame the board didn't announce their moon landing prior to Hannikah, that would have been great. Mind you, the dark side of the moon was a bit too dark for me. Better luck next year.
