Three players not world beaters but effort by the the ton. Great knowledge of this league.

Know the resigning of KB will have most happy. The same ethic as the players above and in this league the only way is ethics.
Having spent most of the season stuck in Wales I have watched North Wales and on a show string they all play like Kenny. Some great players down in championship 1. No egos just train hard when you can and enjoy it
Baker would have been high on any sensible list for players to be retained. A bit of good news for us.
If your looking in league one you can't look beyond the obvious gavin bennion n a lad at keighley called Jack Miller who's a really good player.....there's obvious talent in there......
Kenny and Tyrer are, to me, the stand out players of the season. Glad we have kept them.
Would love to see an improved front 5 and Baker back in his true position as a hard running, grafting, no 13,
Agree with that. Sam Wilde is a good start but the front row is going to be key in whether we are more competitive next season. Would much rather see Baker at 13 but for that we need several new props.

With Clough, Tilleke and Farnworth, another 2 big hard working grafters would do.
Not convinced that those three plus two others as our sole props wouldn’t lead to Baker and Grady back in the prop rotation and backs on the bench again. Five just doesn’t seem enough given most teams play two or three on the bench every week. All our props except Tilleke have missed a fair few games with injury this season, in some cases almost all the games!

OK, fair comment.
Good example of targeting standout players from lower down or less well supported clubs. Presumably we will be doing more of this.
Remember we got Jason Demetriou from Rochdale via Chorley Lynx!
Thought he may have been an option for a Salford or a Leigh so very glad he is staying.
Even in the Doug Laughton era we signed Phil McKenzie from Rochdale and Joe Grima from Swinton. Gems can be found in unlikely places and agree Baker (and also Cross) is a good example.

Tyler Dupree is a start at least - would hope that we are looking at Bennion too. Some may have jobs that make Widnes a long trip.

Have we actually signed Dupree yet? Nothing on our club site that I can find.
Ditto Ince.
Iirc it was stated as 'signed' in the MEN and taken as a done deal - hope so anyway!!!!!
Has there been any news of the speculated signings of Aaron Brown, Brad Holroyd yet.
I know Baker always puts a good shift in, but I agree with the general opinion that he could give so much more at 13 and would add a much needed attacking option from the pack.
Like others, I am hoping Dupree signing gets confirmed. Looks to have the potential to do well for us.
