@ringo-bells In all fairness, although Leon has been good for us, he's nowhere near good enough to oust Irwin and Sneyd. He's still only young, and will learn more playing with Gilmore than playing in Wire reserves. It's a win win for the 2 Clubs.

It’s good that he’s playing for wire which gives him more experience at the top level and if he comes back to us then he’ll be better for it. Hopefully AC is confident he will return when we play our next game or Lyons and Gilmore will be 6&7 moving forward and we know that is not a game winning combination

Personally I would have got rid of Lyons and kept Toby Hughes. We should have offered Lyons to Salford. 😂🙈
@begg in hindsight we should have kept Hughes to Salford as a loan not early permanent signing. That way we would of had a choice of 2 stand offs to play alongside Gilmore when Abdull left.
Hayes will play more games for Warrington, Irwin is a talent but at 18 he will need resting and his form will dip at some point.We need to be pro-active and get someone signed before he is recalled. Burgess has given us notice sayings its when not if Hayes plays.
With Maizen, Hughes, Bibby and Abdull moved on and not coming back, we must have some room to sign someone. 3 of those 4 must have been on decent money.
Dan I have just never really rated Lyons and I just have a feeling Toby Hughes is more talented and would offer more. I am surprised we kept Leon Hayes for so long and would love him back. If in the Warrington set up I would not mind Irwin or Oli Leyland? Agree we should have had an replacement for Abdull for sure, especially in a pivotal position. If a prop or back rower you sort of can get away with it mate.

Am I missing something? Sam Burgess announced in his presser that Leon was likely to play this week (and next?) but can't see keeping Sneyd out passed that, just yet. But, stranger things have happened.
