Letting Lawton go will be awful for us. Are only big forward we have who’s still got a good few years ahead of him. Instead we’re apparently signing barrow players 😂😂
We have recently been told that our finances and set up are what most Championship clubs would love, so we should have no problem making Lowton a realistic offer and as has been said, a player we should keep.
It is too many seasons, that we have had nothing to play for in the last quarter and the general opinion has been let's regroup and have a go next year.
I do not expect someone to come forward and bankroll the club, but I do think the loyal fans deserve a squad who will give every game a proper dig for the full 80 minutes.
Yesterday was , in my opinion , a game lost purely because York wanted to win more than us.
he's goin....played out of position all season near enough. along with quite a few players ,,,not bin able to show what they can actually do...players have been covering too much..props especially...people playing there who arent props. not their fault mismanaged and badly trained..
Hamilton has a lot to answer for.
@sunny how is it Hamilton fault? He didn’t recruit the current squad, a clear out is needed and we don’t see what goes on at the club
we know from past experience Lawton doesn’t train hard as his potential hasn’t been met in a lot of ways. He should be playing super league with his ability
If the 4 mentioned left and we replaced them with better quality we’ll be happy! I think the squad needs a huge overhaul personally and if we can secure some financial backing we could look at competing at the top of this league which has to be our aim. The IMG requirements may suit us apart from the catchment area criteria
