bailey haven’t seen much of him or heard since he went to Cumbria with both of those teams not doing well
jughes in a salford side who have got 2 wins against a poor Swinton side and hunslet side who have also only won a couple

How did Jordan play yesterday? Can’t really tell that much from highlights but seemed to be in the thick of it. What about Houghton? Saw he was passing the ball along the line at one point but did he add some much needed heft in the pack?
Johnnyboy, personally I thought Jordon did okay. The kick to Connell was excellent, but we didn't keep Dewsbury under pressure with his kicks in the way we have seen earlier in the season. Mind you, the wind was strong and their fullback had a good game.
Houghton ran really hard when he came on, but didn't keep that going.
If both play next week, they should be better again.
Apart from kicking it out on the full, on a restart, giving Dewsbury a pen on half way, he brought nothing different to the party. Houghton did okay. Took his drives in as a prop should do. I think there's a player in there. Probably needs a lot of game time. For me, McWhirter was the pick of the pack, and Joe Edge was strong with ball in hand. I still think there's lots of improvement to come. We need more grease on the cogs!

Abdul was average , but his kicking was better than what we’d managed, in the previous 2 matches.
Houghton didn’t play badly for his first match, he looks a big lad, hopefully he’ll be better as he gets fitter.
I didn't go but on the highlights his kick for that try looked fairly special. Pinpoint accuracy. Who else have we had playing for Widnes in the last 10 years who could have done that?

Average.....that's good as near all the side are below average
