We don't know if the rumours about Maizen are true but apparently we are now chasing Joey Romeo from Whitehaven, possibly instead? Another ex Swinton player. This obsession with ex Switon players concerns me. If we want to aim for a home draw in the play offs we need to aim for top 3 or 4. To achieve this we need players from better sides as well. I can see the likes of Oldham being more than a challenge to us next year if we do not add more quality in at least 3 positions.
Not sure why he left swinton for Whitehaven - but possibly better option than patten, a player on the up as opposed to one in the autumn of his career
Finances dictate. Oldham have have financial backing, we don't. Get people to go the game then we have more to spend
Unfortunately we don't have a big backer like Oldham, so it comes down to how many fans through Turnstiles and WVIPS members.

I haven't seen him play and what is his position? Never heard of him and was sceptical on Butt and he has been great for us.
Me too.Bennion might have been a decent signing four years ago and Patton has hardly sight the world alight at any of his clubs.Never heard of Romeo and the other rumoured one,can't even remember his name.It's hardly raiding a top 4 team for their star players is it,relegation material teams.Another ex Swinton player. I don’t like the continuous signing of Swinton or ex Swinton players but if Coleman trusts certain ones in certain positions then based off the team performances this season I am bound to trust him until proven otherwise
