A few Fiji players from their kick and clap team could be useful

We would never be able to even match what they earn at present...

It's gone a bit quiet, I would have expected a new signing to have been announced today at 7pm?

@dan1

Maybe there are no more new signings to report at present.

@spelly The artificial pitch does bring in more money but I doubt the club sees any of it. It goes to the Council who own the ground.

no new signings as yet coz there is no offers of any value to quality players...those that are staying are there coz they already have contracts and have been offered less and accepted..those that are are either mates of new coach or ones who cant get first team elsewhere...we let too many go who would have been good if coached properly. the fact that belsh lasted the season was the first indication of lack of money spenditure. Nice guy no doubt, but only stood in.

Jay Chapelhow is not coming here despite rumours. Signed for Oldham.

Well nobody knows the facts unless part of admin with the wages. Oldham might have offered really good money because if not much difference I don't see the point of them leaving. No disrespect to Craven, but he may not play much if signed him for 2 years, and probably passed his best. Right or wrong players come and go all the time, and I don't care if give 100 % to Widnes Vikings.

The Lads who have left for Oldham will be coasting in that league. Cornwall, West Midlands, ha. They'd get a harder game against HFH Open Age.

The players are not worth it what they want to be honest. Hardly pulling up trees coming 9th. Lawton a lazy curlywurly and Craven a sick note. 🙈🥖🥖 2 years to be in the stands no thanks 😂🤡

I believe craven/Lawton/farnworth to be good players but maybe got too comfortable at widnes, we finished 9th last season so any players leaving with the exception of one or two isn’t the end of the world
