In the weird world of RFL, there are several variations of and answers to your question
1. If London win the Championship Grand Final YES London SHOULD be in SL next season.
2.If the RFL follow their process for entry to SL in 2027 (as they should) and London win the Championship Grand Final and finish in the top 14 of the IMG Spreadsheet League YES London SHOULD be in SL next season, but if they finish outside the top 14, the answer is NO LONDON SHOULD NOT be in SL next season.
Complicated isn't it. Are you with me so far?
3. If London win or lose the Championship Grand Final WILL they be in SL next season - see answer 2 above.

My view is that London WILL be in SL next season whether they win the Grand Final or not, because the NRL will demand it as part of the SL deal and the RFL are desperate for the NRL to bail them out.
As an aside, I heard a rumour that Widnes and Swinton have put their names forward to play in Las Vegas in 2027, which will guarantee their place in SL in 2028.

I quite understand the question you ask, but there are a couple of things I think people seem to forget like .....
How is it we have to abide by the ruling of a limit in overseas players? Also isn't there a limit to how much you can spend with regards to your income?
Maybe I'm wrong but I would imagine London may have broken both these rulings? What do you reckon? If so do you still feel they are worthy of the super league status?

I acknowledge that they're full-time, and totally accept that means it's not a level playing field when their lads aren't clocking on at the warehouse at 7.00am on the Monday morning, after playing the day before, when yours and ours are, but...........
Would you have said "No thanks!!" had some Aussie millionaire picked the Chemics to throw his dosh at, instead of a team in the Capital? Coz..............
If (dream on Spelly) he'd have gone for my mob, my reaction would've been "Thank you, bring it on, and Super League here we come!"

next season is now our outlook, but we await what the clowns will put together as a fixture format - could be play your 4 local teams 8 times - who knows

The 13th & 14th teams were Toulouse and York, each of whom had more than 13 IMG points and will almost certainly have gained points this year in a variety of areas as a result of being in SL. The remaining teams in the top 14 all had at least 14.65 points. How are you suggesting Widnes have made up such a huge deficit?
No way do London deserve to be in SL, the criteria was set to be in SL and they don't meet it. People are whinging all the time about the RFL changing rules yet they expect the rules to be changed for London. IMG ratings dictate SL entry and every club knows that.
