Prediction (bias?) caps on here, so..........
Where do you reckon you'll be in the Championship come the play-offs?
Personally, I can't see past Fev and Leythers being the top two, but after that it seems wide open.
'Fax should be there or thereabouts too, and (if I was pushed) I'd predict third for them, with Kear's Crew and / or you mob making up the top four.
York? Newcastle?
Over to you mes amis!
Spelly
Widnes between 5th and 8th maybe ?
......all things being equal.
Top 3 Leigh, fev, Widnes in any order
Agreed.
Either just make the Play Offs or just miss out IMO.
Think we will win more games than last year but that's no guarantee of a Top 6 spot.
Squad is better but we all know we are not necessarily strong up front.
I think we will make the top 6, how high depends on the number of injuries we get. But we’re due a lucky year with injuries, it’s a while since we had one.
7th place. The usual hard luck stories of could haves and should haves.
I’m going to go for sixth. We could finish higher if we have a lot of luck with injuries but if we lose a couple of props or halves to injury then we could go through a bad run due to lack of cover options. Hopefully the people who think we finish top three will be proved correct.
@mt Agree with 6th even in my dreams we couldn't finish in the top three.
Top 3 Leigh, fev, Widnes in any order
Really ? In any order ? I wouldn't bet 50 pence on Widnes finishing higher than Leigh and Featherstone.
6th
4th position realistic for this passionate man. Pascal is confident.
I'd say if we get a fair run with injuries we are capable of a top six finish , 5th at best if I'm honest . Squad looks better balanced than last year but only time will tell lessons have been learnt from last year .
The Vicar
I'd like to think 3rd with the squad we have put together but based on what this coach got from the players we had last season, I am far from confident. Under-achieved by about 3 places last year and lost a number of absolute shockers in embarrassing fashion, regardless of injuries and our recent financial history.
Hope he proves me wrong.
I don’t think many coaches or possibly any coach could have got that squad last year as high as fifth given the sheer lack of forwards due to injuries and other absences. Happy to give Finnigan a pass given he wasn’t responsible for the recruitment bar Lawton and Hulme. This year is his chance to have a fair crack at proving himself.
